The Murphy academy of Music has been a lifelong dream of Director, Rebecca. Born and raised in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland, she has always had a passion for advancing Music Education in the area.
OUR AIMS AND ETHOS
Our aim is to create a safe learning environment, where its ok to be wrong, try again, and find what works best for you! The amazing thing about Singing Teaching, is that each voice we work with is entirely unique to that person. Therefore, we will never apply a ‘one method fits all’ approach to our lessons. Rebecca’s extensive experience as a Vocal Coach and Performer mean that she is always aiming to find what feels vocally comfortable for a student.

Rebecca, as a Vocal Health First Aider, wants to ensure that, first and foremost, her students feel healthy and comfortable when they sing! This means that her lessons are highly interactive and fun, and may involve things like movement exercises, voice grading exercises, and general advice about practicing good vocal health.
